Visual Studio: A number of the announcements are related to Visual Studio 2013 Update 2.

Windows phone 8.1: With the announcement, we’ve updated DirectXTK and DirectXTex to support Windows phone 8.1.

Windows 8.1 Update: This announcement covers a number of improvements coming for Windows 8.1 in KB 2919355 starting on April 8, 2014. Note that Windows 8.1 Update is a mandatory update for Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2.
